5 i practice having mains, exclusives, and affiliates. i will accept two versions of each character as a main, but only one version of each character as an exclusive and affiliate. i also practice ship exclusivity. ship exclusivity and normal exclusivity do not go hand in hand. exclusivity does not automatically equal affiliation, but affiliation automatically equals exclusivity to me. my affiliates are an integral part of my canon and cannot be replaced. all three categories receive priority plotting. becoming exclusives and affiliates require extensive plotting and writing in order for me to form these connections, whether that writing take place on dash or on discord.6 i love shipping. i only ask that, before it is done, we have plotted sufficiently and that we have written some before shipping. any force shipping or seeking me out specifically because of my character or faceclaim will result in a hard block. no exceptions. i have had too many experiences with this and have an extremely low tolerance for it.7 i normally don't post starter calls, i post plotting calls and reblog memes. i don't like mandatory interest trackers and likely won't fill them out unless we're already friends. if no interest in interacting is shown in a certain period of time, whether that be through liking plotting calls, sending memes, or even just interacting with my ooc posts, i will softblock.8 hi, i'm blythe, i'm 28, and i use she/her pronouns. outside of tumblr, i'm a healthcare worker so this blog is nowhere near my highest priority. my psd is by kaisources and the noise psd on some of my graphics is by ohisms. i have discord available upon request for mutuals and i look forward to writing with you!

storyline

Mackenzie verona was born to teen parents who were forced to wed to avoid 'shame' from being born out of wedlock and so young. His mother, Meika, comes from a very traditional Japanese family while his father, Alexander, comes from a broken household. Since his parents were so young, Mack was mostly raised by his grandparents, Satō Minoru and Satō Akiko. He grew up speaking Japanese and was taught that he needed to be the best at whatever he did, and he took this to heart.Mack graduated from high school early, at age 15. As a result, he graduated college by 19 and started working at Arasaka as a desk assistant in the same year. By 28, he'd worked his way up to second in command of the counter intelligence division in Arasaka's night city headquarters. This was a sense of pride for him, as it was a position he gained through being ruthless and not caring who he hurt to get there.He lived a rather lucrative lifestyle, money being of little consequence to him even after sending half his paycheck to his grandparents to help support them. All of this came to a halt, however, after receiving an impossible task from his boss.Mack was never anyone to say no to a job — but after being asked to orchestrate Susan Abernathy's assassination, he heard the word no leave his mouth for the first time in his entire professional career. Having no choice, he continued to plan it. He was caught, however, by Abernathy's people, and in a manner of seconds, he lost everything.With the help of Jackie Welles, he gets on his feet again through being a merc. He didn't speak to his parents or grandparents for months, ashamed of what had become of him. However, after some time, Mack sees a light at the end of the tunnel — being a merc may not be as lucrative as running in the corpo rat race, but it was a chance to be the best at something again, and Mack Verona would be damned if he wasn't the best at what he did.Curious about his choices in game? Takes place in Cyberpunk 2077, either from his life starting new after being fired from Arasaka or after Johnny and V are sharing the same mind. Since he was a corpo, he and Johnny do not get along at first though they develop a very close relationship as a result of being in each other's heads.

Corpo Rat, takes place while V is working at Arasaka. Since this takes place over such a long time frame, there will usually be some plotting before anything is written here.

Post Canon, Johnny is able to be separated from Mack's consciousness. Mack returns to night city and becomes a composer and music producer like he always wanted to, finally following his dreams for once and finally slowing down compared to the fast life he used to live. Modern Verse, Mack is a ruthless businessman who doesn't care who he hurts on his way to the top — but this time, it's in our modern day, not the future. His fate is basically the same as the corpo lifepath. He is threatened, ousted, and forced to do odd jobs to survive. Eventually, he is able to become a composer/music producer.

General Fantasy Verse, Mack works for the Arasaka family, a noble family with a less than savory reputation. He is eventually betrayed by the family and becomes a mercenary. His dnd class would be a fighter.
